NanoPurification
Development of advanced materials and methods for water and sewage treatment by means of functional nanocomposites
NanoPurification is aimed at developing nanomaterials (nanoparticles, nanolayers) for use in the traditional water and sewage treatment industry. The water treatment system that will be developed will be highly efficient and multifunctional due to its combining a microfilter with integrated disinfection using UV light. Particles and microorganisms will be retained from the water while impurities are degraded or killed. Water purification, drinking water treatment, sewage treatment, and product preparation processes will be improved based on the results of the project.
