New DaNa Article 2018

Pesticides are intended to protect plants from pests such as insects, microorganisms or vermin such as nematodes. The use of nanomaterials should have several advantages here. For example, the effectiveness of a pesticide against pests may be increased so that only small amounts of the pesticide are needed. So how exactly are nanomaterials used in pesticides? Are there any products already on the market? What advantages nanopesticides may have? Is there a mandatory authorization for nanopesticides?

The recently published DaNa-article "Nanomaterials in plant protection products" will answer these and other questions and can be found in our Cross-Cutting section.
